Synesthesia Garden. RHS Hampton Court Flower Show 2015. Gold Medal
I made these sculptures for a show garden which was set within a domed tent which represented the inside of a synaesthete's head. The garden was washed with different coloured lights in response to trigger words and music, echoing the multi-sensory experiences of a synaesthete. The light which reflected from the mirrored mosaics represented the electrical activity which takes place within the brain when it receives a stimulus.
